Held recently at The Station Hotel Northallerton was the annual Pork sausage competition. There were 18 entries the judges were Richard Craggs, Alex Morrison and Ruth Cook from Thirsk Young Farmers.
The result was:

A V Fawcett & Sons are a long established, traditional independent family butchers, proud suppliers of Dexter beef, award-winning sausages and local dairy produce.
The Fawcett family has owned the butchers shop in Ingleby Greenhow, North Yorkshire since the early 1900’s. Now in the third generation we have a wealth of experience in butchering.
